Summary: This was my first time trekking in Nepal and it was just incredibly amazing. Breathtaking views, grueling hikes and brutal weather, but so much fun and companionship- -words fail me. This experience pushed me beyond all my limits I have ever known. That being said, I would give all the credit to our amazing guide Dinesh Malla. Amazingly responsible, competent, dependable, very professional, thorough, always attending to our comfort and safety. Traveling as a single woman, safety was of utter importance to me on and off the trail, and this was always well taken care of. In addition, Dinesh has amazing local connections and with his friendly personality, he helped secure the best available amenities in the little lodges. Not to mention his knowledge of the mountains- he could rattle off names and heights of mountains without skipping a beat. He encouraged us through the difficult Kala Patthar hike, helping as needed in dangerous areas, and yet stopping for the best shots at the best times. Between him and his assistant Janak, we got accurately timed beautiful sunrise and sunset pictures almost daily. To top it all, Dinesh also welcomed us into his house for a traditional lunch with his family after we got back to Kathmandu. This was such a heartwarming and beautiful experience. This trip has been phenomenal at all levels. From personal accomplishment, to learning about Nepal and its people, forming new friendships, and last but not the least, remembering fondly my interactions with Dinesh and Janak. That is priceless and will be with me forever. If I return to Nepal, I will definitely go with Guide Dinesh again.

Summary: In October 2025, we had been on an adventure that we will never forget. We did a trekking to Everest Base Camp. Stunning landscapes, physical challenges, and moments of joy in the Himalayas made this journey truly extraordinary. But what really turned this trek into a once-in-a-lifetime experience was our amazing guide, Dinesh Malla. Right from beginning, Dinesh went above and beyond to make our trek as enjoyable and smooth as possible. His kindness, humor, and warm personality lifted our spirits even during the most exhausting moments. Every step of the way, he showed deep care, professionalism, and genuine passion for what he does. One of the things we appreciated most: Dinesh always brought us to the perfect photo spots and made sure, we didn’t miss a single breathtaking view. Thanks to him, we will come home not only with incredible memories, but also with amazing pictures to look back on. When one of us suffered an ankle injury during the trek, Dinesh immediately took charge – he organized ice, ensured we were taken care of, and handled everything with calm and care. It was such a great feeling that he knows everyone along the trail – from lodge owners to porters – and he used that local knowledge to manage accommodations, meals, and logistics with incredible ease. Unfortunately, our helicopter flight from Pheriche to Lukla was canceled due to snow and rain. Even then, Dinesh remained calm and proactive. He guided us safely through difficult weather conditions and brought us to a great lodge, once again showing how dedicated and experienced he is. Reaching Everest Base Camp was an emotional highlight – but what made the journey truly memorable was Dinesh. His caring nature, great sense of humor, and open-hearted personality will stay with us forever. Dear Dinesh, thank you for this incredible journey. You made this trek unforgettable. We wish you and your family all the very best for the future – and who knows, maybe we’ll see you again on another trail someday. Namaste 🙏 – Stefanie and Felix

Summary: Just finished the EBC trek with Santosh as our guide, and he was absolutely outstanding. His expertise and calm presence made our entire group feel fully supported and safe throughout the journey, which really eased any stress. I had been quite nervous about the altitude, but thanks to his knowledge and careful guidance, our entire group reached EBC with 100% success. Along the way, he shared fascinating insights about the region and its culture, making the trek even more meaningful.
